oOOooo flowers

Its been a relaxing looOOOOONNGGggg holiday :D

one and a half weeks of rest!!! YAY!!! but all good things tend to come to an end kinda fast huh?

So holiday = fishing + photo sessions lo.... also went on a shopping spree - got meself a SB600, and a 4X Hoya closeups (yummy!!)

so before i post up some test photos, let me put up a f-stop differential photos just for someone to see the difference la. So here are some basic explaination:

The smaller your aperture number, or "f/stop", the shorter your depth of field will be. so the larger your f/stop the deeper your depth of field. Ai... write so much also no use one, just see photo's below la:

Now these two photos are taken with the exact same focal length. the only difference is one has a f/4.5 (right) and the other has a f/22 (left). Ada the understando? good....

Now back to my garden oopsss... erm... flower farm photos...

now these are taken before i got my close up filters... mind you there are the closes i can get to the flowers.

Then these are taken with the 4X close up filters on. now look at the difference...

SoOOOoo Much closer!! hehe... slurp....

so since it was a over cast day, decided to take a few more snap pics before it rained la.. hehehe...
and yeah... its all taken in my dad's "flower farm".
Nibble nibble, taut taut, STRIKE! Fish On!!!

Dei, FOr who to see laaa the Depth Of Field photos?... very nicely snapped....

smaller f/stop numbers are good for potraits - blurring the background but sharp at the subject.. emphasises on your subject..

huge f/stop numbers are great for scenery- where u want to get the sharpness throughout

Beautiful photos leh.. ur dad's flower farm! send my regards to your family ya..
