The Golden Compass

I guessed many of you would have received a mail regarding the new upcoming movie The Golden Compass, coming soon on December 7 staring Nicole Kidman. Wow, great, another movie Narnia wanna be coming out in December...woohooo!!! (yeah, i'm being sarcastic here) time to take the children for movies some say... but wait, here's the mail that's been circulating around:

There will be a new children's movie out in December called 'The Golden Compass'. The movie has been described as 'atheism for kids' and is based on the first book of a trilogy entitled 'His Dark Materials' that was written by Phillip Pullman. Pullman is a militant atheist and secular humanist who despises C. S. Lewis and the 'Chronicles of Narnia'. His motivation for writing this trilogy was specifically to counteract Lewis' symbolisms of Christ that are portrayed in the Narnia series. Clearly, Pullman's main objective is to bash Christianity and promote atheism. Pullman left little doubt about his intentions when he said in a 2003 interview that 'my books are about killing God.'

He has even stated that he wants to 'kill God in the minds of children'. It has been said of Pullman that he is 'the writer the atheists would be praying for, if atheists prayed.' While 'The Golden Compass' movie itself may seem mild and innocent, the books are a much different story. In the trilogy, a young streetwise girl becomes enmeshed in an epic struggle to ultimately defeat the oppressive forces of a senile God. Another character, an ex-nun, describes Christianity as 'a very powerful and convincing mistake.' In the final book, characters representing Adam and Eve eventually kill God, who at times is called YAHWEH.

Each book in the trilogy gets progressively worse regarding Pullman's hatred of Jesus Christ. 'The Golden Compass' is set to premier on December 7, during the Christmas season (and staring Nicole Kidman), and will probably be heavily advertised. Promoters hope that unsuspecting parents will take their children to see the movie, that they will enjoy the movie, and that the children will want the books for Christmas. Please consider a boycott of the movie and the books. Also, pass this information along to everyone you know (including church leaders). This will help to educate parents, so that they will know the agenda of the movie. I am sending this to those of you who have kids or friends with kids, grandkids or have influence with kids. So many things today are darkness concealed in what appears to be innocent.

FYI. Don't let kids see 'The Golden Compass'

ok.... so heres one thing i don't understand about this movie writers and our board of censorship... a movie potraying the glory of christ (The Passion of The Christ) was banned, and only Christians from recognised churches can watch it in the cinema, but some movie bashing christ, God, etc is made and will be released for the public... hmmMmm.... aint really smart are they?
now lets have a look from the outside... even if our board of censorship are mostly of other religion from Christians... aint God supposedly created everything even in their belief? um... movie potraying someone killing God is allowed, BUT a movie professing the glory of another is Banned... WOW.... that really made sense...

Then, here comes along a writer, a professed Atheist (an answered prayer for all Atheist) ... um... how or who does he pray to ah? I thought Atheist are people who believed that there are no such things as Gods?? erm... so he claims that He is God and at the same time all Atheist prays to him? HUAH!!! hehehe.... either he's really blasphemy like mad, or he IS really the God of Atheist!!! so all you Atheist, look no further, your "saviour" is here.. hahaha...
Oh, the sign above? its The Greek word αθεοι (atheoi), as it appears in the Epistle to the Ephesians (2:12) on the early 3rd-century Papyrus 46. It is usually translated into English as "[those who are] without God... so does this means The Atheist Temple sign would be like the above?.... Frankly speaking, the Cross would catch on much faster :P

Don't really get it with these Atheist people, don't believe in God, ok lo... but whats with the hammering, trying to prove people wrong, blah blah blah... are you people just plain frustrated that you have nothing to believe in? hmmm...... could be... probably.... MOST LIKELY...

Now Now lets have a look see at this at another angle... This Pullman chap has a personal vendetta to this C.S Lewis writer (a Christian book writer and also the Narnia writer), seems this movie is just to "hantam" him right? Then this Pullman chap play has Nicole Kidman as a star (a Honolulu born of Ausie parentage - Roman Catholic)... erm... OH! and she WAS married to a certain actor who just so happened to decided to follow the teachings of Church of Scientology... (WHAT??? CHURCH of SCIENTOLOGY? and he's just someone who can't stop lying) ahaha...so did Nicole Kidman cause Mr. Kidman to "fall from grace" and decided to join the "dark side?" - OH! and they did not have any children during their marriage?? then all of the sudden, after their divorce, babies just start popping out from both sides??? i think we'll just all forget about the movie, and make a "True Story" movie about these 2 writers and their stories & actors... i bet it'll be a hit man!
just incase you're wondering whats this blue sign above? its the sign of The Church of Scientology...

so now, back to this movie... i personally think its a crappy movie... hey, i dun even watch these types of shows! will i bring my children (if i had any) to watch this movie? well... NO, they'll be out fishing with their old man and taking photos than wasting their time in a dark crowded room filled with bacteria and weirdo's just waiting to molest unsuspecting ladies and children. If my children would wanna watch movies or cartoons, they have ASTRO... :)

so don't waste so much time arguing about the movie, don't even bother watching it... lets go fishing and take photos, better use of your time.. trust me... and those who agree say??? AAMEN....

Nibble nibble, taut taut, STRIKE! Fish On!!!
