Fishing KK06 -2nd Series

ok ok... i know its been close to 2 months now for this 2nd series to be written, but heck... was too bz to even sit in my cubicle to type :) so here it is.. happy reading

So we continue where we left off... here we were on the high seas heading out to our fishing spot, 6 hours ride. This crew was slightly easy going with not many rushing to book place or to set up their rods. So i went ahead and took a quick nap to settle my headache (but not really that easy trying to get use to sleeping on hot rocking boats).

Woke up around 3 hours into the ride or so and started setting up my jigging rod and sat my place as close as possible to my bed as possible... lazy to walk far ma.. But when the boat stopped, lines went down.. but the catch was quite slow considering the stories that we got before we went on this trip..

Getting seasick after dinner and the slow action did not help... but on the bright side of things, only drizzling and no heavy rain storm in sight... good good.. :) so after burleying the sea, i decided to totally go off and try to get proper rest to recover from my headache...

middle of the night about 2am or so, there was this irritating bell ringing sound from one of the boat owners rod! (i swear i was cursing like hell to myself about the sound, but my curiousity got the better of me) - woke up just in time to see the landing of our first big fish.. a nurse shark! Landing it was not easy i tell you... rod holders broke and fell into the sea, chairs flying about in the boat and lines entangling.. thanks to the sharks tail.. but a round of pictures and hammering the shark on the head to kill THAT finally woke me up!

So with that insentive i finally woke up and re-rigged my gears to catch myself some tenggiri. to be continued....

Nibble nibble, taut taut, STRIKE! Fish On!!!
