Fishing KK06- Final Series

ok ok ok... i know its getting too much now, so long never update... sorry la.... not free leh, and it doesn't help much for ppl like me who insist on getting disconneted when i'm at home :P

so... back to the 3rd series....
Got up with the insentive of seeing the boatman land a nurse shark, hell... i ain't no loosing fishing time just cause of this puking action i got going on here...
lets see.... let me recall.... i remember setting up my rig with a small kembung i found on the floor... dried one at that - lowered it down by about 18 arms length, and let me tell u, its not easy with a spinning reel. didn't have to wait long though... about 5 minutes or so, haven't even woken up yet i felt a strong tug- and all hells broke loose.... guys that have been fishing with me you know how light i set my drags :P so imagine a tenggiri peeling out the line like a bat out of hell, and all you hear is the screeching sound of the reel and all you can do is hold on and pray it does not despool you... well... i guess He heard my prayers and the tenggiri relented, after about 15 minutes and after some grilling frrom the boatman for taking too long to land my fish the fish surfaced. With rod raised high, and garf ready - the worst thing in fishing happened - the DANG boat helper garfed my fishing line and in the process broke the line!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! i almost pushed him into the sea to go after my damn fish!!! i was so furious man!!! My hard fought tenggiri gone!!! ARGH!!!

so since its no use crying on spilled milk, i continue to rig up my gear for the next action... not even realising that i actually hooked myself in the thigh and my finger with a few loose hooks left on the boat by god knows who...

So back down with my second rig, and still muttering about the lost fish a second one hit! And believe me, i struck with such a ferocity, any fish would be stunned to death with it... but i guess this fish was also hell bent in not getting landed... again the line peeled out like a runaway train...
this time i wasn't bothering about the complain coming from the boatman, if i loose this one i was about to throw him into the sea as well... So after about 20 minutes, my second tenggiri surfaced, and i was not gonna let some deckhand burst my line again, ini panggil self service lo :P

and when it was landed, i was soooOOOo much relieved... almost forgetting about the lost fish.. hmph... lucky caught one that nite- else we gonna enter edisi siasat for a fisherman lost at sea story :P

well, to put the story short, the next few days was not as productive as the first nite - but we did ran into a school of japanese reds. And let me tell u, fishes was everywhere on the deck for 20 minutes, about 1 to 3 kg each, and its not double or tripple hook ups, the whole boat was striking the same time and that proved to be the last hectic session we had on this trip.... and who would forget my ember jack that disappeared from the deck and into our stomachs within 30 minutes of landing it - we had our very own japanese sushi chef :P
Dad again was the champion with a 7.2kg sweetlip landed. Not forgetting that our ice-boxes were sooOOoo overloaded, most of them got to pay extra for the overweight items before our flights home.

oh....guess what.... in this months Rod & Line edition, the guy holding the sweetlip? yeah the on in the saltwater prize thinggy? one word... Cheater!!!! Its not even his fish!!! he caught peanuts during this trip and hell no i'm not letting he getting away with it - dude, it could have been my dads fish and almost all the months his photo's was there? psst... "its not his...."

now don't you think the photo of the fish he submitted just looked too familiar??? hhMMMMmmm........ kind to think of it, the pass few months he showed up in R&L, NONE of those is HIS! ahhahaa!!!! man...... what a SAD case... :P
maybe i should just edit that photo and make a big mark on his head (CHEATER!)

These few months have been really dry for me, no fishing kaki to go with, soOOo... i guess i'll have to find other stuff to write in here eh? sorry la ya... heheh... have better and more exciting stuff to put in the next write up - soOOoo... stay tune ya :)

Nibble nibble, taut taut, STRIKE! Fish On!!!
