Fisho's: Shuan, dad and yours truly
Now we fishos have always wanted to get our hands on all the "Superbait" for all our fishing trips, and here just so happens to be one of it.

2 Weeks before the fishing trip, we given a "tip" from Aziz (the caretaker of this pond)about a certain “superbait” that was supposed to be the most effective thing for "BIG BIG pacu" in that particular pond. So being the ever keen fishos, we set off on our own testing of the “superbait”.
Morning of the 8th, we were having our usual breakfast at PJ old town and with our superbaits in hand we were as confident as ever to land the BIG one. We discussed our strategy on how to handle the “BIG Monsters” that we were about to land (I don’t know why we ever do this, cause we never follow it anyways).
Arrival at the pond proved to be slightly disappointing cause the “bigger” boat has been taken by one fisho, hence we were stuck with the smaller one, and we have 3 person with us! (the boat was not really safe to fit 3 people, but heck – we couldn’t be bothered! Our fishing brains were taking over our sense of logic processing, as most fishos often do :P)
We set out to the far end of the pond, as not to disturb the other fishos on land and also to hide the so called “superbait” (Kiasu ma :P). For the first 2 hours of the morning, we were casting around using our gizmos and gadget with only one hit, but no landing. After being exhausted with the casting and trying to balance the boat out with 3 fishos on the mini boat, we decided to try our “superbait”.

1st breakthrough of the day! My dads reel was bent and reel screaming (just when he was putting on the sunblock lotion – now we fishos know the big ones always hit when u are busy with something rite? ALWAYS!) After about 15 minutes of fishing the fish, the 10kg+ pacu was landed. (ok, maybe this was just a one-of event, and so we thought.)
2nd time hit! On the same rod again, and my dad passed it to me for the fight – this time about 20 minutes!!!!! And another 10kg+ pacu was landed, and I would swear it was not the same fish (or maybe it is? Just too stupid/ hungry to let us hook it so many times)

3rd time hit! And finally it was Shuan’s turn to have his reel screaming away.. another 15 minutes, ANOTHER 10kg+ pacu was landed, and we were convinced we have indeed found ourselves a superbait for mama pacus! Oh, how we were dreaming of the easy days we going to have ahead of us. 10kg+ big mamas to entertain us when we are bored or looking for easy meat.
Weeks later we tried to use the superbait again, and this time to no affect… we were perplexed… this followed for the few times more whenever we visited tow foo… and hence fishos, there are no such thing as a “superbait”,but just being there at the right time with the right bait… If the fishes are hungry and you so happen to have something they dine on, then its game on! Else you’ll just probably spend your time there with your fishing kaki, talking about the good old days...
Nibble nibble, taut taut, STRIKE! Fish ON!!!
