The title speaks for itself. I'm sitting here wondering over the pass few weeks, why should i even bother reading the star? All i get are propaganda and lousy news reporting. Neither does it really report the actual happenings and events. Aren't news papers supposed to be neutral and to really report and to keep the public "up to date" with the nations happening rather than being a political tool by certain parties?
I thought all these would change once the election is over and we can get back to actual happenings of the country, but look and behold... 5 days have pass since the election and its still the same old crap.Sitting and reading all my mails and "Itu Bintang" this morning, there are so much contrast between all that is being reported and what is actually happening... The top news today was - "rocket cannot work together, uncle Lim order his team go back home kau kau chui but little boy's being naughty".... ai... thats how i actually interpreted the news la... then there are the sore losers muttering "rocket betray non-muslims, give Mining town to yuit khong"....
aiseh... once you've lost, just be a gentlemen, shake hands, wish the other luck and try to do better on the coming election. Its barely one week and i'm already reading this junk again. argh... why would waste money to even read such a junk anymore?
what ever happened to the good stuffs? the real news? the ones that reporters actually goes out and get the good stuffs? what happened to the bravery and the integrity? our local news reporting has become so stale... so stale that maggots would even be turned off! I think they've stood back so far, and bent down so backwards that they now not only kiss the ass of the ones their supporting but also kiss their own ass. Their more bent nowadays to just protect those that are in power rather than to stand up for their rights and integrity to report the actual happenings and to follow the story.
don't believe me? what happened to the AP story? gone... what happened to the winding bridge? gone... what happened to the bombed model? only leaving u scraps, and later gone... any reports of how a certain MP acting like a cowardice gangster? none... oh how about the one where our minister decided to lie through his teeth and made Malaysian's looked like a bunch of idiots? deleted, erased, blocked, barred... oh and how about how really unfair our wonderful system really is? "forget about the poor people, more importantly my cronies should get the scholarship, lets build multimillion dollar structures in other countries, lets buy a new jet so i can take it on a mile high club experience, lets provoke a bunch of idiot/nuisances to public motorcyclist so i can fish votes from them and cause havoc in the next election"...
the list goes on and on, and i'm still so much puzzled, how in the world couse "itu bintang" get better stories that writting up some crap propaganda things again? but then again, their asses already belong to the "Dark side". So not much i can do, but to just boycott "itu bintang" from now onwards...
