I bet most of us know one or two person with this chronic disease of constantly being late. This is something i don't really get. Their excuses are (and I will say it, regardless of what ever reason it may be, its still a bloody excuse) always traffic jams.
A wise man once told me... imagine if theres a pot of gold in office (or the location you're heading to) for the first person to arrive there, would you think anyone would be late? (i think not). Traffic jam IS ALWAYS A LAME EXCUSE! Regardless of what you may think, if you live, work or commute in KL or any big cities for that matter of fact, traffic jam is NOT an excuse its a way of life.
Frankly speaking, next to child abusers (or pedophile), back stabbers and people without backbones etc etc... i have the least respect for people who are constantly late. Let it be late for meetings, church service,dates or even a lunch appointment, if a time and date has been set, you should at least have some common decency to plan ahead and make it not only on time BUT at least be early by 15 minutes (this way, you'll always be on time "just incase theres a traffic snarl/parking issues").
You may be thinking, why so serious one? ok mah... then let me ask you this question:
Why should you respect a person who does not even respect you (your time) by constantly coming late? (and don't come giving me that bullshit of "we should be forgiving" - if its once or twice yes i agree, but if its those chronic cases, don't you even dare say such things to me)
I'm not saying that i am a saint, but unless its an unforeseen event like the "Bersih" and "Hindraf" rally that cause the whole city to come to a stand still, traffic jam should never even be uttered out as a reason for being late. So for those who are constantly late (and so happens to be reading this), UP YOURS YOU WHANKER!(don't even dream that you'll be able to get a date with a girl with such attitude, let alone find a life partner) and those who have to always wait for them, i feel for you....
